Built in the framework of the Latin American Meeting of Architecture Students, ELEA Atacama 2017, the project ‘MUYU, Cámara Circular‘ is a circular dark chamber of prefabricated wooden frames, which protects and conceals a mysterious interior patio. Its shape and spatial configuration forces the visitor to fulfill a specific rite to enter its nucleus, seeking to deliver “a significant experience around the recognition of the territory and the Andean magical cosmology”.

The design was made by the Chilean architect and photographer Nicolás Sáez, who along with the collaboration of Ismael Maldonado, student of Architecture UBB, led the workshop conformed by 30 architecture students from Peru, Uruguay, Argentina, Spain and Chile.
